There is no precedent for this.
We are living a crisis that will bring an immense amount of pain to the communities we are running to represent. It has already laid bare the failings of our political system, from the racist incompetence emanating from the White House to the wealthy members of Congress & corporate lobbyists who want to seize this moment to line their pockets. Campaigning is difficult in this moment. But progressive leadership has never been more important than right now. To stand up for the most marginalized in our communities. To defeat those whose failings and greed brings such pain upon our communities. To come together, as a movement, to support one another in our times of need — and then to rebuild our country in the image of justice.
